EMILY LANSLEY
GloMoth
Emily Lansley, AKA GloMoth is a multi-disciplinary artist from Liverpool and also one third of art pop band Stealing Sheep, a group of all-female musicians who are attributed for their exploration of alternative visual live performances, combining craft, design and folkloric tropes creating unusual and unique imagery.
Emily is known for her playful, vivid illustrations and prints that combine landscape, characters and colour, utilising a variety of materials and methods realising small scale arts projects and larger collaborative events. Her work often features anthropological themes, with an anarchic mindset, uncontrolled by convention and often inspired by 'outsider' art.
Her illustration work has been exhibited as part of Super Cool Drawing Machine / Bold Street Coffee / View Two Gallery / Hope Street Hotel / Kitty’s Laundrette.
More recently Emily was commissioned to create a limited edition screen print for The Pink Moon Project celebrating 50 years of album 'Pink Moon' by Nick Drake and has also painted murals all over Liverpool in schools, bedrooms and on the outside walls of The Kazimier Garden.
